This section will be gradually updated with notes regarding anaesthetic & perioperative management of various procedures. The notes were initially created for personal use and are uploaded here for ready access by anyone. I’m just working out the best format to share them.
The information is a combination of information from textbooks, journal articles, etc. and personal experience. Practice may vary substantially between centres so if you’re unfamiliar with a procedure then you should ask the proceduralist and anaesthetists at your centre who are experienced for advice. Practice also evolves over time and we can’t guarantee that the information here will remain accurate and up-to-date, but it should provide a useful starting point and handy reference.
